Visible Rearfoot GEL - The ASICS GEL system is based on a special kind of silicon that enables optimal shock absorption. GEL units are strategically placed in the midsole and designed to enable specific functions and positions.
Trusstic System - A plastic bridge located under the arch which gives the shoe strength and stability without loss of flexibility.
SpEVA Midsole - A supreme midsole material that improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown and new for this season ASICS have made this a two piece SpEVA midsole. The new set up provides improved shock attenuation and a smother transition from heel strike to mod stance.
Trail Specific Outsole - Reversed lugs on the sole which provide uphill and downhill traction on all types of terrain.
California Slip Lasting - This upper is stitched around the EVA board and directly attached to the midsole for better stability and ultimate comfort.

Introducing the new Fuji trail line, the GEL-FUJI TRAINER, part of the Autumn/Winter 2012 range. A lightweight off-road shoe combining comfort with a great ground feel, suitable for under-pronator and neutral runner. Featuring a slightly tougher SpEVA midsole adding extra bounce back capability and creates the direct ride that many trail runners love. This model features a Trail Specific Outsole for optimal uphill and downhill traction on all terrain types. The upper has a minimal construction to prevent water absorption.
